Vizmo is a NOVATech 2009 Winner

That's right!

Yesterday, October 13th, we won 2nd place at the NOVATech 2009 Business Plan competition.

NOVATech is a regional competition covering Eastern & Central Europe and Israel. We of course represented Israel. NOVATech Winners compete at the IBTEC, the international competition at UC Berkley. Winning 2nd place got us $10K cash prize, and at IBTEC we stand the chance of winning a $25K prize.

Other than the cash prize we also got to meet interesting team from foreign countries, and had a lot of fun pitching Vizmo in a 15 minutes presentation (+15 minutes for Q&A).

We're developing the business of Vizmo with the generous aid of the Technion Innovation Lab. We would like to thank Ayala Berenson, Sharon Tal-Itzkovitch and Uzi De-Haan for the help they've given us, and for the help they're giving us still.

There were seven judges who we asked to choose better customer service for everyone. So, we've won with the promise of making better customer service a reality, and we're going to make it a reality.

Our visit to the CCExpo 2009

We've recently returned from the CCExpo 2009 , that's the Call Centre & Customer Management Expo. It's in the UK where a centre is a centre (and not a center), the TV programmes are colourful and everyone wears a suit.

The expo was held at the Birmingham NEC, where we've seen some interesting products, that might go well integrated with Vizmo, and met some very interesting potential partners.

During our trip we got to see some of London, we got to experience a little of Birmigham, and got a glance at the British country side from the view of the train. That country side is quite picturesque, and we plan on visiting it someday (not necessarily together).

All in all it was a successful trip which really suited us, and got us suited up for it.

Looking for Super Heroes

We've talked to customers, we showed some demos around, and got some great feedback. Now we need to follow it with

“Action, action, action!”

And we're looking for an Action Hero, or heroine, to join our A-team.

Our personal hero needs to love building software, to be excellent at it, and to be adventurous (as heroes and founders usually are). We're looking to add a partner, so all 3C's - character, capability, code-ability - are important.

Pass the word around. Contact us at contact@vizmomobile.com
